With more than thirty years of industry experience,
Marvin focuses on the personal relationship between the manufacturer
and the sales agency. Through
his experience, he has found selling to be a personal intimate
business. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to build
long-term relationships.
As a manufacturers representative, Marvin has
assisted principles of many companies in fine-tuning their marketing
and sales strategies. He
has quickly adapted to changes in the industry from handwritten orders
to EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) over the course of his thirty-two
years of sales experience.
Over the past several years, Marvin has conducted
manufacturer/manufacturers representative seminars throughout the
United States.
Marvin is an active member in four of the largest
manufacturer representative associations.
Networking has been helpful in communicating mutual experiences
with hundreds of colleagues.
Prior to starting a sales career, Marvin was
employed as a buyer and vice president of merchandising for a large distributor of
non-food items selling primarily into supermarkets and drug stores.
Marvin attended Northwestern University, Chicago
campus majoring in sales, marketing and real estate.
Over the past twenty years he has worked closely with classroom
instructors in several of the local colleges’ night school
divisions.
